COACH BISHOP IS A RECENTLY RETIRED PRO WHO PLAYED OVER 9 SEASONS OF PROFESSIONAL HOCKEY AT VARIOUS LEVELS INCLUDING THE AHL, ECHL, AND EUROPE. GROWING UP IN ALASKA, HOCKEY HAS ALWAYS BEEN HIS PASSION. AFTER PLAYING FOR THE CHARLESTON STINGRAYS DURING THE 2012 NHL LOCKOUT HE DECIDED TO CALL CHARLESTON HOME. "HOCKEY IS THE GREATEST SPORT IN THE WORLD. HELPING OTHER PLAYERS ACHIEVE THIER DREAMS IS THE BEST WAY I CAN GIVE BACK TO THE GAME!"
